How do you store your scissors?
We have already discussed how to choose scissors. But how do you store them? For example, I use several pairs: large ones for cutting, medium ones for smaller tasks, my favorites for everything, and small ones for hard-to-reach places)). I don't have a dedicated workspace, so my threads are in a box, needles in a pincushion, and my scissors are in a drawer. My large scissors have a special sheath, but the others are just "tossed in." That's probably not right. I'm thinking, maybe I should sew some sheaths myself? Look at this beauty I found.

I think felt or a thick fabric like wool coat fabric would work for a sheath. Here is the pattern:

Although, the sharp edges of the scissors will pierce the fabric... I don't even know what to do. What do you think?

I keep my tailoring scissors in a fabric case. I sewed it myself based on the principle of a brush roll with pockets that rolls up. It's both safe and compact. Although before, I just put them in a separate desk drawer with the tips pointing inward. Knock on wood, I've never cut myself.
