How to make a lace collar without knitting
This quick and easy collar can refresh any outfit – it will be a great addition to both an office blouse and a fancy dress. And the best part is, you don't need to know how to knit to make it! Even schoolgirls can handle this project.

## You will need:
* a piece of lace – the size depends on the shape and size of the collar;
* fusible interfacing – the same size as the lace;
* ready-made bias tape or a strip of fabric that matches in color – for the trim;
* rhinestones for decoration;
* thread, sewing tools.

How to make it
Draw a collar pattern on paper. If you are making it for a specific dress with a particular neckline, trace that neckline onto the paper for the inner profile of the collar. Cut out the template.

Note that it is enough to make half of the pattern. This is convenient and also guarantees a perfectly symmetrical collar cut.
Mark the contours on the lace folded in half.
Bind the inner side of the collar with bias tape. Leave long ends for ties.

Make a cutout at the center front. First, it needs to be drawn, following the elements of the lace.
Apply the fusible interfacing. Sew on rhinestones or beads.

Isn't that harmful to modern scissors? I suspect that scissors used to be made of different steel, with the right composition. But today's ones, you might heat them once and that's it... They'll dull quickly. Only good for the trash. It's a pity... No, I won't risk it.🙁
