How to sew a delicate guipure dress in just one evening
Lace and delicate motifs always look beautiful and unique. Thanks to the wide variety of such fabrics available today, which are also very easy to work with, you can sew a wide range of items that will completely transform your wardrobe. Today, I'm sharing a great option for a guipure dress that even beginners can sew.

To sew this dress, you will need:
- polyester lace fabric;
- blouse fabric;
- fusible interfacing;
- invisible zipper;
- sewing supplies.
The pattern is designed for sizes 42-44, but it is easily adjustable to be larger or smaller.

Cut out the front and back pieces separately from the blouse fabric and the lace fabric. Don't forget to leave seam allowances.

Join the two layers of the lace and regular front pieces together. Baste the pieces along the marked line. Do the same for the back.

Pin and sew the bust darts.

Finish the fabric edges with a serger. You can also use a zigzag stitch, but be sure to test your machine settings first so you don't damage the fabric. After finishing, you can remove the basting stitches.

Join the shoulder seams of the front and back.

Sew the right side seam.

Sew in the invisible zipper on the left side.

Cut out facings for the armholes and neckline. The most important thing is to ensure the grain lines of the dress and the facings match.

All facings must be reinforced with interfacing.

Sew the edges of the facings together and finish the outer edges.

Align the armholes and neckline of the dress with the facings.

Sew the pieces together.

On the left side, where the zipper is, stitch along the armhole and secure the edges to the facing.

To prevent the armholes from being bulky, trim the seam allowances on the facings after first sewing a stabilizing stitch.

Also, don't forget to make notches.

Finish the hem of the garment, fold it up, and sew it by hand using blind stitches.

The work is done. Here is the dress I made in just one evening))

And I like the dress in the form it is in the photo! Boat neckline, no extra details. Everything is very delicate, the focus is on the fabric!
