Help me identify this fabric
Please help me identify this fabric. I saw a t-shirt on YouTube and want to sew one just like it. I'm a beginner when it comes to fabrics and couldn't figure out what material this is. The video says the fabric is wrinkle-resistant, stretchy, holds its shape, and is primarily made of natural fibers.

It's hard to say without seeing the reverse side. It looks a lot like double-knit jersey. This fabric is often used for children's clothes and t-shirts. The front side of the fabric has a smooth surface, while the back has loops. It doesn't deform or shrink. At the same time, double-knit isn't loose; it has good density. It's perfect for t-shirts—it breathes well and doesn't create a greenhouse effect. Plus, thanks to the specific weave of the threads, it's almost waterproof, isn't afraid of dampness, and isn't prone to rot. As for the composition, there are options. Mostly, double-knit is made of 100% cotton. However, that's not entirely practical. It's better to choose a blended fabric—one that contains a small percentage of polyester and elastane in addition to cotton. Anyway, even if they used a different fabric in your video, consider this—knitted double-knit is a very good solution.
