How to cut and quickly sew a long skirt
Given the very simplified cut of this model, it is only suitable for very slender girls.

*
## What you need for this skirt:
*knit fabric – amount based on your measurements;
*wide elastic for the waistband;
*thread, sewing supplies.
## How to sew
Fold the fabric in two layers. Mark the center line of the skirt. Measure the desired length. If you want a maxi skirt, the length is approximately 90 cm. Along the top edge, measure out 1/4 of your waist circumference in both directions, plus seam allowances and ease.
At a height of 16...20 cm, measure out 1/4 of your hip circumference in both directions, plus seam allowances and ease.
Draw straight lines through these points.

Place the pieces right sides together and pin.
If your fabric has horizontal textured stripes or a similar pattern, ensure the lines match at the side seams.

Stitch the sides.

Sew the elastic to the waistband after joining it into a loop. To ensure the elastic gathers the top of the skirt evenly, sew it on in sections. Mark 4 control points on the elastic at equal intervals. Mark similar points on the skirt. Pin the skirt and elastic together at these points. Stitch while slightly stretching the elastic.

No matter the fabric, it will definitely stretch. And if you also take the body's contours into account, the sides will sag.:( I would still shorten the length along the side seams. It won't complicate the cut much:). The hemline needs to be trimmed in a not-too-steep arc – with a rise toward the side lines.
