A life hack for those who use a sewing machine very often

I don't claim to be the "Honorary Life Hacker of the Year," but perhaps this will be useful to someone.

When sewing, you might find that you don't have enough light directly over the presser foot. The built-in lamp or bulb in the machine might not provide enough light for the stitch itself. After a few hours of staring at one spot, your eyes will definitely start to hurt. ## Want one too?

Buy a magnetic LED lamp for your sewing machine. It shines very brightly and attaches directly above the presser foot. I found out about it purely by accident and am now sharing it with you. It's quite inexpensive for such a useful item.

## Another useful thing is a magnetic guide.

If you pin pieces together while sewing, attach a magnet to your sewing machine to make it easier to remove them. You can stick pins to it as you sew the item. I use an ordinary round magnet with a hole in the middle. I hung it near the stitch length adjustment and take it off when it gets covered in pins. Then I take them from it when I need to join pieces together again.

But there is also a special magnetic guide. It pulls the pins out itself with its attraction as you sew. This is how it looks in action. You can place the magnet in another spot as well.
