How to knit two sleeves at once

Many crafters often wonder how to speed up the process of making sweaters when knitting sleeves, while ensuring the tension remains identical. The answer might seem strange, but it is truly effective. You can simply start knitting two sleeves on the same set of needles. The only caveat is that this technique requires two separate balls of yarn.

Cast on stitches on two needles as you are accustomed to. For each piece, cast on stitches from different balls of yarn. After casting on, remove one needle and knit in your usual way, but working on both sleeves simultaneously using the two different balls of yarn.

You can also apply this knitting technique using circular needles, which allows you to knit two sleeves in the round at once. This technique is called Magic Loop. Cast on stitches as in the first method, pull out one needle, and spread the stitches along the cable. Next, divide the stitches of each piece exactly in half and pull the cable out slightly to form a loop. Proceed with your usual circular knitting, but for two items at once.
