Easily and quickly refashion an old blazer into a skirt
If you've found a blazer in your wardrobe that you're tired of or that has long gone out of style, I suggest sewing it into a stylish skirt. It's best to use a button-up blazer for this transformation. A skirt remade from such a jacket will fit your figure perfectly without being too tight.

Cut the blazer along the chest line, right under the armholes.

Fold the edge and carefully sew the hem using a sewing machine.

Make darts at the back or sides to tailor the skirt and ensure a perfect fit.

The skirt is ready!

Another point is the buttons. I think you also need to connect it underneath the buttons themselves, otherwise it would be extremely inconvenient if a button came undone unnoticed.
