How to make a heart-shaped pillow with your own hands?
With the main holiday for lovers, Valentine's Day, approaching, everyone is racking their brains on how to decorate and give their room a festive look. After all, especially on holidays, it is very important that the room's interior is unique and beautiful. And what decorates our rooms? Of course, various accessories with bright color schemes.
After all, it is on this holiday that it is important to create an atmosphere of love and romance, which can sometimes be a difficult task.
You have a unique opportunity to make a heart-shaped pillow with your own hands. Such an item will decorate any room and provide pleasant sensations.

The pillow can be stuffed with down, feathers, or other materials, such as foam rubber.
So, let's begin. First, you need to prepare a few necessary tools.
These are: paper, any cotton fabric, a simple pencil, stuffing material, and some necessary sewing supplies.
Use percale, or in other words, cotton fabric, as a ticking to keep the down inside the pillow. First, draw the outline of a heart on paper. Cut out the shape and use it as a pattern for the front and back of the ticking.
Add one and a half centimeters for the seam allowance around the perimeter. Pin the two parts together and baste. Run it through a sewing machine, stitching along the sides.
Don't forget to leave a space so you can stuff it with material through this opening. It is better to leave it at the top where the two arcs meet. This will make it convenient to stuff the pillow.
Make notches in the lower parts of the arcs. Now, turn the ticking right side out, and you can start stuffing it with material.
In the end, you just need to neatly sew the remaining opening on a sewing machine or by hand. Your handmade pillow is almost ready. You just need to put a red or an unusual burgundy cover on it.
This will certainly decorate any room! Thank you all for your attention, goodbye!

You can also decorate such a pillow with an appliqué or embroidery. And if you want to do it really quickly, you can tie a beautiful bow (just make sure it looks proportional to the pillow) and sew it onto one of the corners.
