Sew a throw pillow from a scarf in 10 minutes
Want to refresh your interior but don't have the time or money to buy beautiful textiles? There's a solution - you can sew a throw pillow from a scarf. The advantage is that you sew the pillow and the pillowcase at the same time. The work will take only 10 minutes and won't cost a penny in additional materials.

For this model, we will need a standard 70x70 cm silk scarf. Fold it in half and mark the center.

Make 2 seams: along the long side and along the center (the fold line). You get a "tube" divided by a seam in the middle.

Stuff one half of the "tube" with filler (fiberfill, batting, etc.). Sew the edge by hand or with a sewing machine. The pillow itself is ready.

Turn the second half of the "tube" inside out and pull it over the pillow; it will act as a pillowcase. Sew a straight stitch along the edge.

Our throw pillow is ready - you can decorate the room.

It turns out to be something like a mini-pillow for a sofa, interesting. :) The only thing is that you'll have to wash it together with the filling.
The material of the scarf is also important here. If it's synthetic like in the photo, it will quickly get snags or pill. But the method is interesting and extremely simple. :)
