Simple house dress – pattern and description
You should look beautiful at home too! Down with robes and sweatpants!
There is always an alternative – for example, look at this simple and original dress I found. Even someone picking up a needle for the first time can sew it.

The pattern is elementary to draft: draw two squares – front and back. Between them, in the middle, is the shoulder line.

From there, draw the neckline on the front piece. You can decide the shape to your taste – it can be a V-neck or a boat neck.
Sketch it out and cut it.
In essence, sleeves aren't even needed here, given that the width of the dress is generous. But if you want, you can make a small sleeve – like in this pattern.
You can gather the dress at the front with elastic. To do this, sew a strip of fabric to the wrong side to create a casing. Thread the elastic through it and secure the ends with a few sturdy stitches.
The casing can be placed at the waistline or under the bust.
Or you can simply make a narrow belt and tie it beautifully.
You can add decorative trim to the side seams. There is ready-made tape in various colors and widths available for purchase. Choose a suitable option and stitch it on. Just keep in mind that if the tape is narrow, you can stitch it right over the seam on the right side, but if it is wide, it is likely better to sew it directly into the seam.
And one important note: given the simple cut, the fabric, its texture, and pattern are of primary importance. Therefore, try to choose a high-quality, striking material.
