What fabric should I use to sew swimming trunks for the pool?
Hello everyone. I need to sew swimming trunks from a dense material, preferably one that has very little stretch. What material are they made of? These are for water polo.

@AnnushkaAnna, Thanks, the trunks say polyamide and elastane. I don't know what kind of fabric polyamide is.
Take a look at a good, high-quality ready-made version.. The fabric composition is usually listed on the label. You'll understand how they're sewn by looking at a finished model you can hold in your hands. The rest is easy—go to a fabric store or order online. It's easier to go to a store where you can handle the fabrics and get sound advice. Usually, the people who work there sew themselves and will help you pick everything out.

@Milka 223, both nylon and biflex would work. But it's hard to give advice remotely; it's better to go to a store and feel them in person—to make sure the material is dense enough and not see-through, check the weave pattern and the degree of stretch (and make sure the fabric only stretches in one direction, not in all directions at once). In short, you need to be there in person to choose.
