Question about production technology
Good afternoon. I would like to know the name of this bead-making technique. I have been looking for information for a long time and cannot find anything. They look like glass, but can be smaller and lighter - as if they were plastic.

Хотела узнать, как называется данная техника изготовления бусин. Очень давно ищу информацию и ничего не могу найти.
Они похожи на стекло, но бывают более мелкие и легкие - как будто это пластик.

This technique is called lampwork – beads are made by hand by melting glass rods. The raw material is melted over a burner and "wound" onto a steel mandrel to create a bead with two holes. For beautiful color transitions, glass rods of different shades are used. You can fuse glitter, decorative flowers, petals, and other things into the bead. It is meticulous work that requires special equipment and skills. I think it would be easier for you to buy ready-made beads; they are available on almost any website that sells handmade items ;)
