DIY Easter Eggs: Festive Yarn Decor!

What kind of yarn can you use? Medium-weight acrylic works perfectly - you only need 20-30g of yarn for a whole basket of Easter eggs. As an additional tool, you will need a long-tined fork.
How to make yarn eggs
Cut a 10 cm piece of yarn, thread it between the center tines of the fork, and hold it in place with your fingers.
Wind the yarn from the ball to create a "cocoon," moving up and down. When the layer is about 1.5 cm thick, cut the yarn. Using the tail end secured at the beginning, tie the yarn bundle in the center and make a tight knot. Remove it from the fork. Your piece should have an oval shape.
Using sharp-tipped scissors, cut the yarn around the perimeter of the bundle and fluff it out.
Make a second identical element. Apply hot glue to the center of the pom-pom.
Join the 2 pieces together.
All that's left is to use scissors to trim the egg into shape.

I liked the idea of eggs made of thread, only they are made on a small balloon. The threads are soaked in PVA glue and wound around an inflated balloon. As soon as they dry, the balloon is popped and removed. The threads are very pliable, you can adjust the shape. Here is what you get:
