How to use plastic containers: making a jewelry box
Many of us buy products packaged in plastic containers. Such containers accumulate in the house, but they shouldn't be thrown away; there are many ways to use small trays. Today I will share one of them and tell you how to make a jewelry box out of practically nothing. No, it's not even just a box, but a real chest with imitation forged details!

## What we will need

- A cardboard box, in my case, it's a phone packaging.
- Unnecessary plastic containers.
- Hot glue.
- Acrylic paints and varnish.
- A medium-width synthetic bristle brush.
## How to turn a box into a jewelry box
First, we prepare the decor. Draw individual elements on the containers with a pencil and cut them out.

Lay them out on the box lid, choosing the pattern. Glue them on one by one with hot glue: first the border, then fill in the center, and then decorate the sides.

Cover the finished "construction" with black acrylic paint and let it dry.

Apply strokes of white and gold paint on top using a practically dry brush. Cover the finished box with acrylic varnish.

We get a very light and at the same time sturdy chest for jewelry, which can also be used as gift packaging.

Every gift can be wrapped separately in a special box, or you can make a jewelry box for yourself!
