Making a soft headboard for your bed
If you love reading in bed or just want to decorate your bedroom with a unique piece, you can create a vibrant headboard using fabric scraps and cardboard.
You will need:
- Cardboard from a sturdy box.
- Fabric (you can use old clothes).
- Hot glue gun.
- Batting, cotton wool, or other stuffing for the "cushions".
How to make a soft headboard for your bed
Cut the desired number of squares of the same size from the cardboard.
Cut fabric squares with a 2 cm seam allowance on all sides. Glue them to the cardboard base on three sides.
Stuff each cushion with cotton wool or batting.
Glue the fabric on the fourth side using hot glue.
Attach the finished cushions to a cardboard sheet using hot glue.
Secure the finished sheet to the wall with screws and enjoy the unique atmosphere and comfort in your bedroom.
