Knitted Kinder Surprise Micro-Toys

This idea came to me when a lot of those yellow Kinder Surprise capsules had piled up at home. My daughter didn't want to throw them away, but the sheer number of them was starting to bother me. So, I decided to make a "costume" for each one in the form of a toy.

The most important thing is that there are no specific rules for making them, and no pattern is needed. Just do what feels right. I did all the work by alternating double crochet and single crochet stitches. You should end up with 4 parts (the bottom and top covers for the capsule itself, a hat, and a scarf).

You can glue on ready-made eyes and noses, or you can crochet them. Now, put all the pieces on and use the scarf to cover the part where the elements meet. Now you can play with them like regular toys, keep them as decor, or use them as Christmas tree ornaments.
