New Year's placemats for plates, cups, and decor
You can sew a beautiful "Frosty Patterns" set yourself using fabric scraps found at home. Despite its apparent simplicity, it looks very delicate, and the New Year's napkins can be sewn in just one evening.

## What you will need:
2 squares measuring 10x10 cm or larger (at your discretion) in white or light blue. 1 square 10x10 cm of lace fabric or guipure matching the main fabric. Blue or white satin ribbon - 20 cm long.

## How to sew beautiful napkins for the New Year's table
Stack the 3 squares: fabric, guipure, fabric. Stitch along three sides, leaving an opening for turning.

Turn right side out and carefully straighten the corners. Fold the raw edges of the opening inward, press lightly, and pin. On the opposite corner, pin the ribbon from the inside so that the ends are of equal length. Stitch as close to the edge as possible.

Tie the ribbon into a pretty bow, and the napkins are ready to be used under glasses or cups. A set of placemats for plates can be sewn using the same principle, just in a larger size.

Also, for holiday decor and room decoration, lace napkins can be additionally embroidered. Use white, light blue, or silver beads, or a mix of them.

I got this idea from the Mieko Heppytime channel.
