Making a cute keychain in 10 minutes
If you have tiny scraps left over from old jeans, like pockets or waistbands, don't throw them away! You can turn these remnants into an original keychain. It takes no more than 10 minutes to make, and you can even get the kids involved—they'll love this "Heart" keychain.

First, draw a heart by hand on paper in the size you like. Keep in mind that the keychain needs to fit inside a bag pocket or just in your pocket :))

Cut out 2 identical halves from the right or wrong side of the denim.

Sew them by hand using a double thread. It's better to choose a contrasting color. Don't forget to leave a small opening for stuffing. Fill the charm with cotton wool or polyester fiberfill through it and sew it shut with a running stitch. You can also join the pieces using a different decorative stitch.

Cut a loop from the waistband (or use a strip from a pant leg seam).

Sew it onto the keychain. I would recommend sewing a button on top for extra durability.

All that's left is to thread the ring and attach your keys—the keychain is ready. Kids will love painting it with acrylics, or you can embroider the heart or decorate it with beads.

Cute little thing! You can hang this keychain not only on your keys, but on your bag too). And if you spray it with perfume or essential oil, it becomes an aroma keychain!
