How to Create Beautiful Handmade Gift Envelopes with Floral Seals

Nowadays, we receive letters and postcards from friends and family less and less often. You can be the exception by writing words of love and appreciation to a loved one, sealing them with a unique stamp on the envelope. You can hide not just a card, but also a small gift inside such packaging! The envelope itself can be made of kraft or colored paper, it all depends on your imagination!

How to make a seal on a gift envelope

We will need a handmade or store-bought envelope, artificial flowers, hot glue, and a seal (a real one or one made from a suitable object).

Sign your card or place a small souvenir inside the envelope. Seal it and place a sprig of artificial flowers on the corner. Apply a few drops of hot glue on top.

Let it dry, and you can present the gift to the guest of honor!

You can decorate a box with paper wrapping in the same way, using artificial or even fresh flowers.

Как сделать печать на подарочном конверте

Нам понадобится самодельный или фабричный конверт, искусственные цветы, теромклей и печать (настоящая или сделанная из подходящего предмета)

Подписываем нашу открытку или укладываем внутрь конверта маленький сувенир. Заклеиваем его и и на уголок укладываем веточку искусственных цветов. Ставим сверху несколько капель горячего клея.

С помощью печати закрепляем цветочный декор.

Даем высохнуть и можно вручать подарок виновнику торжества!

Таким же способом можно украсить и коробку с бумажной оберткой, используя сикуссвтенные и даже живые цветы.

When is the best time to press the seal? Probably when the glue has dried a bit on top, so it doesn't stick to the surface of the seal?

Transparent hot glue sets in seconds, so almost immediately!

The idea is really cool, but I'm in favor of replacing the hot glue with something a bit more refined )) For example, wax or polymer clay. After all, I feel like the seal shouldn't be transparent: all the letters and symbols are much more visible on a colored impression, and the relief is more noticeable.

The whole point here is that there's a little flower hidden under the transparent seal. Otherwise, of course, you could make a traditional one out of sealing wax or wax.
