Budget-Friendly T-Shirt Makeover: Creating a Romantic Look
Every girl's basic wardrobe includes a plain black and white T-shirt. Using these classic staples, you can create unique, romantic new pieces in just half an hour. This T-shirt transformation requires almost no expense, just a little imagination and some careful work.

What you will need:
For the black T-shirt: ready-made beads on a spool or a long string of beads. It is best if they are lightweight so they don't pull or weigh down the knit fabric. Faux pearls work perfectly.
For the white T-shirt: wide lace or lace trim. The length should be 3 times the circumference of the T-shirt sleeve.
In both cases, you will need strong thread that matches the color of the garment. How to decorate the black T-shirt with beads***
Lay the garment on a flat surface and place the beads on the thread on top. Choose your desired placement for the decor. Secure it with a needle and thread in several places.

Sew by hand, catching the thread that the pearls are strung on.

Hide the thread ends on the inside and admire the result.

## How to decorate the white T-shirt
Divide the lace into 3 parts; 2/3 will be used to trim the bottom of the sleeves. Divide this piece in half.

Create small pleats and hand-sew the wide lace trim along the edge of the sleeve. You can also use a basting stitch first and then gather the ruffle.

Sew the second part of the lace to the top of the sleeve, also gathering it slightly as you go.

That's it! Your new romantic white blouse is ready! You can try it on and head out for a walk around the city!

Clothing alterations after quarantine are clearly trending. I liked both models, especially since you really don't need to spend money to update your wardrobe. The white t-shirt with trim looks especially delicate; the trick here is that you don't need to hem the edge of this kind of lace. And you don't need a sewing machine, which not everyone has.
