Decorating a boring tank top
I found an interesting life hack in a magazine on how to decorate a plain, boring tank top and give it a second life. This draping will highlight the neckline and bust while hiding minor flaws. Plus, the tank top looks much dressier overall.

To do this, you need a piece of silk or chiffon measuring 42x20 cm. It will be easier if you put the tank top on a dress form, but you can manage without one. Sew one side of the fabric scrap to the base of the strap, and sew the other corner to the side seam. You can use a sewing machine or a hand stitch.

In the middle, twist the fabric scrap so that a beautiful drape is formed.

Sew the corners of the fabric the same way as the previous ones – to the side seam and to the base of the strap.

The only thing that bothers me is that in the photo, the edge of the fabric is not finished, which looks untidy. I would finish the edges with a narrow rolled hem. Here is a tutorial on how to do it.

An interesting option! But it won't suit every figure. For a large bust, it won't look very nice.:( Although it all depends on the overall style of the look.
