Patchwork. Where to start?

Before you start mastering the patchwork technique, you need to prepare all the necessary tools. The most essential item is a sewing machine. It must necessarily include the following functions:

• needle position fixation (down/up);
• stitch size adjustment;
• walking foot for fabric feeding;
• wide working surface;
• knee lifter for the presser foot.

In addition to the machine, you will need:

• rotary cutters in at least two sizes or with replaceable blades;
• cutting mat;
• specialized quilting ruler;
• standard ruler;
• water-soluble marker (white is best);
• quilting pins.

It is important that everything is organized and in its place so that you do not experience any inconvenience while working.
