Advice on how to start a sweater?
I'm planning to knit a sweater out of down yarn. The yarn itself is very beautiful, so I don't think a pattern is needed. I want to knit it in stockinette stitch, but for the bottom... I'm thinking of doing something original, I don't just want a 1x1 ribbing. Does anyone have any interesting ideas?

Я задумала связать свитерок из пуха. Сами нитки очень красивые, так что узор думаю не нужен. Хочу связать лицевой гладью, а вот низ.... задумалась о том, чтобы сделать что-то оригинальное, не хочется просто резинку 1 на 1. Может у кого-то есть интересная идея?
Usually, people knit so-called "basic items" from down, meaning without any embellishments or complexities. But lately, I've been fond of down clothing trimmed with sequins 😍. It's very festive and simple at the same time.
You need an additional thread like this
Knit in regular stockinette stitch: two strands of down, one additional strand. You can use this to make stripes along the hem and sleeves, or just do it on the lower part of the front.
