Halloween Witch Brooch: An Original Accessory Idea

I couldn't walk past this stunning brooch! It's the perfect accessory to turn an ordinary costume or dress into a witch's outfit.

Materials: seed beads, sequins, rhinestones, craft wire, feathers. First, embroider the top part of the brooch using stiff felt. String beads and seed beads onto the wire, applying glue beforehand for a secure hold. Attach feathers to the tip of the wire using silver thread and glue. Place the "broomstick" between the top part of the brooch and the backing, which is made from faux or genuine leather.

Trim the feathers, then edge the brooch with seed beads and fishing line using a blanket stitch.
