Office Christmas Tree: DIY Desktop Decoration
Before the holidays, you want to create a festive mood not just at home, but at work too. I suggest making a desktop Christmas tree—small and very simple to craft. It won't take up much space, and after New Year's, you can easily recycle it.
## What you'll need
- An old magazine or advertising flyers from a local supermarket.
- Hot glue.
- Glitter cardstock or colored paper (you can even use candy wrappers).
- A can of bronze or silver spray paint.
How to make a paper Christmas tree
Open the magazine and fold each page by tucking the top corner down to form a triangle.
Then, fold the bottom edge inward to create a small triangle. Repeat this for all the pages.
Fold each page into an "envelope" shape to form a voluminous cone.
Spray paint your tree.
Cut out stars or other shapes from thick paper or foil and attach them using hot glue.
You can decorate the tree with tinsel, beads, or even colorful paper clips—it all depends on your imagination!
To avoid messing with paints and other "stinky" stuff, you can use regular PVA glue (cover the surface of the tree with it in a random pattern) and sprinkle the tree with glitter of your chosen shade. It will cost next to nothing: about 50-70 kopecks for the glue and not even a full bottle of glitter (no more than 3-3.5 UAH).
