How to make a Florentine aromatic sachet
An aromatic wax or paraffin sachet with natural oils is perfect for small spaces and closets. You can choose an aroma composition based on your personal preferences, selecting a fresh citrus, sweet fruity, or light floral scent. Long-lasting and unobtrusive, it will envelop all nearby items, keeping your clothes or linens fresh and fragrant. To make a Florentine sachet, you only need a few ingredients, including wax (paraffin), dried flowers, and natural aromatic oils.
How to make a wax sachet: contents
First, you need to melt natural beeswax, or if you don't have any, chop up and melt 2-3 white candles in a water bath. Keep in mind that wax and paraffin harden very quickly, so you need to prepare your molds (silicone, plastic, or shallow coffee saucers) in advance.
Add 8-10 drops of essential oil to each mold and immediately pour in the warm wax.
Then, place dried rosebuds, lavender sprigs, or any other dried flowers into the still-liquid wax.
Cover with a thin layer of liquid wax.
Let the molds sit for several hours until completely hardened. Remove the sachets and trim the edges with a sharp knife. Use a hot awl to make a hole for the future loop.
Thread a thin satin ribbon through, tie a knot, and create a loop for hanging on a wall or in a closet.
You can make several of these sachets at once and wrap them tightly in plastic wrap, which will help preserve their scent for a long time.
Melt wax gently and never leave it unattended. Add fragrance oils carefully and keep the finished sachets away from heat sources.

I made one like this with lavender! The smell is pleasant, and moths don't get into the closet. I also had some pink mini-roses left over from a trip to Turkey (even smaller than the ones in the photo here), they are often added to combined teas like "1001 Nights". I added them in combination with Crimean rose hydrosol to the wax and made a candle in a glass. I never get around to using it, but putting it in a drawer with linen - that's fine. The smell is bombastic, I highly recommend it!
