DIY Solid Perfume: Essential-Oil Safety and Recipes
This is an archive idea for solid perfume made with wax and oils. It describes fragrance combinations, not treatment, protection from illness, or a cosmetic suitable for every skin type.

Almond, vanilla, and cinnamon
The archive suggests melting 2 tsp beeswax in a water bath, then adding 2 tsp almond oil, a few drops of natural vanilla extract, and a few drops of cinnamon essential oil.
Orange and cinnamon
Another archive variation uses 2 tsp beeswax with a few drops of orange and cinnamon essential oils.
Patchouli and vetiver
A third variation uses 2 tsp melted beeswax with a few drops of patchouli and vetiver essential oils.
Pour a warm, non-scalding mixture into a small clean container. Solid perfume can soften or melt in heat, so store it away from sunlight and heat sources.
Essential oils and bee products can irritate skin or trigger an allergy. Patch-test a finished product on a small area, do not apply it to eyes, lips, broken or inflamed skin, and do not ingest it. Stop using it for burning, swelling, rash, or persistent irritation. Keep the mixture away from children and pets.

I have made wax perfumes, but they can melt and leak in summer, so use a secure container and avoid carrying them in heat. The archive comment lists several personal essential-oil combinations. [Editor's safety note: Essential oils can irritate or sensitize skin. Patch-test a finished product first, avoid eyes, lips, broken or inflamed skin, and ingestion, and stop using it if irritation occurs. Keep the perfume away from children and pets.]
