How to weave a belt from narrow strips of leather or fabric
This simple yet original belt can be woven from strips of fabric or leather.

Made from denim strips of different colors or soft leather, it will be a wonderful addition to your look.
## You will need:
- a ready-made belt buckle;
- strips of different colors or solid colors – at least 2 m.
## How to make it
Fold the strips in half and secure them to the buckle using a loop.

Next, start weaving the fabric. Take the left ends of the central strips, cross them over the previous ones, and tuck them under the next strip – see photo.

Continue weaving to the desired length.

Try to maintain even tension and avoid twisting the strips. Trim any excess length. Secure the strips to the second part of the buckle.

I think it would look beautiful if you wove a curtain tie-back like this. Maybe not quite as wide, of course. It should look interesting for heavy fabrics. Off to think about it...
