Spring-Summer 2020 Fashion Trends: Lace, Embroidery, and Fabrics

## Fabrics

White fine cambric, linen, and cotton, richly adorned with drawn thread work and white-on-white embroidery, are in favor.

Translucent fabrics generously sprinkled with glitter, sequins, and fringe have attracted attention. Snow-white satin and silk look luxurious.

## Decor

The ethnic style is in fashion: shirts and vyshyvanka dresses, as well as outerwear decorated with gold embroidery.

## Color Palette

Preference was given to a black-and-white palette, refreshed by all shades of red, yellow, gold, and silver.

Handmade jewelry looks great with such clothing: large earrings, pendants, brooches, and beads decorated with rhinestones, stones, and cross-stitch embroidery.

Ткани

В фаворе белый тонкий батист, лен, хлопок, богато расшитый мережками и украшенный вышивкой белым по белому.

В моде этический стиль: рубашки и платья-вышиванки, верхняя одежда, украшенная золотым шитьем.

Цветовая гамма

Предпочтение было отдано черно-белой гамме, которую освежили все оттенки красного, желтого, золото и серебро.

С такой одеждой отлично смотрятся украшения ручной работы: крупные серьги, подвески, брошки, бусы, украшенные стразами, камнями и вышивкой крестиком.

Ethnic costumes have been appearing on runways every now and then for about ten years now. The same goes for lace (both thin, elastic types and Irish-style lace). As for fabric (personally from my observations) - preference is given to natural ones: cotton, linen, and especially silk! I generally firmly believe that a classic silk shirt should be in every girl's wardrobe. :)

The only thing I didn't really like about this show was the black clothing for the girls. I didn't even include it in the review, it was just too gloomy.
