Thief Mice Fridge Magnet

With the Year of the Rat/Mouse approaching, throwing away wine corks is an unforgivable waste.
After all, from just three corks you can make a festive and timely fridge magnet! (Hopefully, the mice won't take offense—we're just joking around).

So, gather your materials:
• three corks;
• wire;
• an awl;
• gray and brown yarn;
• scissors;
• PVA glue and a tube of superglue;
• toothpicks (8 pcs.);
• black seed beads (3 pcs.);
• magnets.
How to make it
The first and most important step is choosing corks of the right shape. We need two corks tapered in the middle and one smooth cylindrical cork.

Trim one of the tapered corks and the cylindrical cork into a cone shape. For the tapered cork, trim only the top. Cut the third cork in half, as we will only need half of it.

Cut the wire into pieces: 5-6 cm (7 pcs.) and 6-7 cm (2 pcs.).

Connect the cone-trimmed corks using wire. Make holes in the corks with an awl, insert the wire, and join them together. You now have a body with a head.

Attach four paws and a tail (make it longer). 😊

Cut two circles for the ears from the remaining piece of cork. Attach them to the head using wire.

You get a charming little mouse.

The cut half of the cork will be the back end of the mouse that has already climbed into the fridge. Therefore, attach only two paws and a tail (also long) to it.

Now let's decorate the mice.
Coat them with PVA glue and secure the gray yarn. Wind the yarn in a spiral.

Wrap the tips of the paws and tails with brown yarn, also applying glue beforehand.

Glue the eyes and nose onto the mouse with the head. Leave the ears untouched, keeping them in their original state))😊

Cut a 'cracked' hole shape for the fridge out of a flat magnet.

Glue the half-mouse to one side and a strong round magnet to the other side (using superglue).
Build a little ladder out of yarn and toothpicks.

To do this, tie toothpicks between strands of yarn one by one. You should get a fairly long ladder.
Tie one end of it to the mouse with the magnet.

Simply tie the second mouse to the ladder by all four paws.
