**For this project, prepare:
*For the mounting base:***
drill bit;
wooden cube, 8 x 8 cm;
four identical wooden slats;
cord;
hook;
paint (if you wish to paint the mount);
for the hanging toys
assorted colors of felt;
hollowfiber or any other stuffing;
glue;
large paper clips.
Tutorial
Find the center of each side of the wooden cube and drill holes. Screw a metal hook into the center of the top of the cube.

Drill small holes into one end of each slat (see photo). Apply glue to the other ends of the slats and insert them into the cube.
At this stage, you can paint the base.

Now let's work on the toys. We need to make five little clouds and six hot-air balloons. You can make as many toys as you like! If you wish, feel free to replace them with, for example, a sun, moon, or little stars.
Patterns for the balloon and cloud:

Cut out the pattern pieces, place them on the felt, trace around them with a pencil, and cut out each piece (the pattern indicates the number of pieces needed).
Then cut four short brown threads and glue them on like this:

Hand-sew all the pieces together one by one:

Insert the white piece between the two basket pieces and sew them together.

Pin the two balloon pieces together, placing the white piece with the basket between them.

Sew the pieces together using simple blanket stitches. Leave a small opening for stuffing.

Cut a long length of thread, tie it to a paper clip (I used a small plastic letter), and sew it into the toy.

Sew the clouds together using a blanket stitch.

Pass the thread from the hot-air balloon through the cloud. Tie a large paper clip with a knot where you want to secure the cloud. Place the paper clip inside the cloud and sew it shut.

Thread the cord through the hole in the slat and secure it with a sturdy knot.
