How to Easily Make a DIY Detachable Collar Necklace

To create a unique look, you don't need a lot of accessories. Simply accent your outfit with a stylish, eye-catching detachable collar that you can make at home in just one evening.
To make the detachable collar, you will need:
• high-quality, reliable glue;
• gold glitter;
• clear varnish (acrylic-based works well);
• a small piece of felt;
• a paintbrush;
• a small piece of sponge;
• paper to protect your work surface;
• a button;
• a needle and thread.
Draw an arc-shaped collar onto the felt. You can use an existing pattern (if you don't have one, you can use a custom fitting method to ensure it sits comfortably). Cut out the blank.

Sew the button onto the inside of the collar, and make a thread loop on the other side for the button.

Thoroughly coat the front of the collar with glue so that no bare spots remain. While the glue is still wet, generously sprinkle glitter over it in a thick layer. Now leave the piece to dry completely.

Once dry, take a dry sponge and gently brush away any loose glitter that didn't stick to the glue so the glitter particles don't end up on your clothes when wearing the collar.

After that, coat the glittery surface with varnish to seal the glitter in place, and you're ready to wow everyone with your new looks! :)
