I've always thought aran patterns were the most beautiful! Ninel, look what I found. It seems to be exactly this pattern. Between the arans is a seed stitch, but offset by a row. And the diamonds are a-la cables. The double diamond variation is beautifully executed, with the outer ones on the edges intertwining with the main pattern - the seed stitch. Inside the diamonds is stockinette stitch.
A very interesting model. Usually, the pattern is on the front, but here it's the opposite: plain knitting and diamonds on the 3/4 sleeves. Added to my collection!
