How to turn an ordinary tablecloth into a festive one. Crochet decor.
I have a friend who loves linen. One day, her favorite linen tablecloth was stained with wine, and we didn't know how to save it. We found an idea online and successfully brought it to life! I liked it so much that I decided to save the photos and share them with you.

To decorate the tablecloth (in my case, to hide wine stains), crochet elements are used. These can be simple circles—see how to crochet them HERE—or flower-shaped elements often used for crocheting doilies.

You can choose a color that matches the tablecloth, a contrasting one, or use variegated yarn. Ideally, use sturdy cotton, viscose, or linen thread. Similar decor for pillows would also look appropriate in the home.
You can sew the crocheted details not just onto the tablecloth, but also along its perimeter. This idea really caught my eye:

Notice that the napkin holders are crocheted to match the tablecloth decorations. Everything together looks not only very harmonious but also original!
