A Simple and Original Kitchen Planter from a Cutting Board
To create this planter, you will need a round cutting board and thick rope.
Make 3 small notches on the board at equal distances from each other (you can do 4 or 5, depending on your preference).
Cut 3 pieces of rope about 1.1-1.3 m long. Gather the ropes together. Leaving about 12-15 cm from the end, tie the ropes into a small but tight knot. Fray the ends to create a beautiful tassel.
Prepare the other side of the planter. Leaving about 30-40 cm from the end of the ropes, tie a knot and then braid the ropes (you can add a few more knots at equal intervals). Tie a sturdy knot or loop at the end for hanging.
Insert the cutting board so that the ropes fit into the notches you made.
Secure it in a window frame, on a curtain rod, or from the ceiling.

The length of the ropes depends on the width of the cutting board, the height of the pots and plants you plan to place on the planter, and the hanging height. The distance between the edge of the board and the first knot at the top should be at least 40 cm.

In the photo, the knot seems unreliable; if it shifts or wobbles a little (and if there are cats in the house, the probability is very high) - the structure will collapse. I think it's better to use knot weaving. Here is a photo for an example, but the threads on the sides must be wide, otherwise everything will fall.
