Which hoop is best for embroidery? My secrets for using spring hoops
I've long wanted to share my experience using spring hoops. As you know, spring hoops are very easy to use, as there are no tiny screws or distorted fabric (like with wooden ones).

Simply press the rods against the inner ring to remove it from the outer hoop. Then, place your fabric over the outer ring, squeeze the inner ring, and gently set it inside the outer ring. This provides good, even tension across all parts of the hooped area. Spring tension hoops are available in 3 sizes: 8, 13, and 18 cm.

When I work with these hoops, I hold them so that my fingers are above the tension bar. This way, the thread doesn't get tangled or snagged while I'm stitching. I like using spring hoops for small details. Another big plus of spring hoops is that they are easily portable; you can take your project almost anywhere.

If you have a hoop that you've been using for a while and feel it doesn't hold as tightly as before, pull the tension bars away from each other. It might seem like you are enlarging the inner ring, but when it goes back into the outer ring, the tension returns to normal. Spring hoop tension can cause indentations on your fabric, so remove it when you take a break. Your fabric can also get dirty from your touch. It's best to hand wash your work in cold water once finished.

Thanks for the tip!
Back in my school years, I used embroidery hoops with a rubber ring (it was frustrating to the point of screaming, but there was no other choice).
Now I work with bamboo ones, but these also cause quite a few difficulties. I should probably get some like these for myself too.
