Embroidering mittens
Dear crafters, please suggest your design ideas. I have natural yarn in black, brown, and cream, up to 2mm thick. I didn't like the floral option with standard roses and other flowers. Here are the mittens themselves.

When I'm ready... there's no final idea yet, I'll post how it turned out here. For now, I've knitted a swatch for testing. I want something of my own and not to copy others.

I've had these mittens lying around for about 3 years now; there were other issues, and to be honest, I just forgot about them.
A decorative stitch along the edge is definitely happening. Otherwise, I liked the sashiko technique option. Though I'm not sure how it will go.

Such mittens can be easily decorated with twisted laid thread and simple stitches.
Or, if you wish, you can come up with an entire scene, adding wool, French knots, and a little bit of beads to the stitches.
Floral themes, by the way, also vary; for example, monochrome ones look very stylish and subtle.
Sashiko is visually a bit too chaotic for me as an embroidery version, but as they say, to each their own )) I like Swedish embroidery more, something like this
