Our guests today: Her Majesty, the fresh roll
Boys and girls, and their parents too, whether you want to or not, our guests today are Her Majesty, the fresh rolls. The beauty of them is that they require almost no heat treatment, provided you are confident in your ingredients. We will need: - rice paper - shrimp - glass noodles (funchoza) - cucumbers - mango - bell pepper - black pepper (ground) or ginger - sweet and sour sauce - parsley / cilantro / lemongrass - optional. I wanted to, but forgot.
Pour boiling water over the glass noodles for 5-7 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water. Fry the shrimp (you can add ginger) in a pan with oil. Cut the pepper, cucumbers, and mango into thin strips. Yes, it's tricky with mango (if the fruit is ripe, which it should be), but give it a try. Just in case, find the video "geometric shapes from persimmons" by the group "NOM" on YouTube - it shows very clearly how to do it. Pour water into a wide plate, dip a sheet of rice paper in for a couple of seconds, take it out, and on another plate, lay out the moistened sheet. Place the glass noodles, vegetables, shrimp, herbs, black pepper, and sweet and sour sauce in the center or on the edge, then fold in the sides and roll it up to the end. Remember that in cooking, it's not just skill that matters, but size too, because if you put in too many ingredients, you won't be able to wrap the roll. It won't stop you from eating it, but it will be less beautiful, even if it is more filling.
A tip for the hostess: if you want to save money on vacation, choose sandals that only show two toes - this will allow you to pay less at the pedicure salon, because painting 4 nails instead of 10 is a big deal! Remember, the rich person is not the one who earns a lot, but the one who knows how to spend less!

I'm not against such recipes (tasty, interesting, unusual), but only if someone else cooks for me. I like something quick and easy.
In general, I'm up for anything, except starving😋😋😋
