Rebatching leftover soap can be a creative craft project, but it is not a tested formula for skin-safe soap or a children’s activity. This post covers only melting existing commercial soap; it is not a lye-soap method. Do not add lye or other caustic ingredients without a separate, reliable process, appropriate PPE, and adult expertise. Heated soap can burn, and ingredients such as fragrance oils and colorants may irritate skin.
