How to make bar soap?
I've learned how to make soap in molds, but I can't seem to make large, multi-colored bars. Can you tell me the secret to mixing colors? I prepare several different containers, add dye to each, and then pour them into one large mold. But what happens is that by the time I pour the second and third colors, the first one has already set, and everything ends up separating. In short, I can't get it to form one solid bar.

This soap is made using the swirl technique. If you used melt-and-pour soap base for making bar soap or used regular baby soap instead of a base, making such bars would be quite problematic. You would have to spend more than one day and a lot of nerves (and materials, too) to get the desired result. To make everything easy and simple, there is a special swirl base, which has a thicker consistency when melted, thanks to which the shades in the mold do not mix.Show full quoteCollapse
