How to make decorative bra straps
Fancy dresses often have quite open or sheer tops. I'm not always comfortable showing my bra straps, and I don't like silicone ones—they stretch out and break unpredictably.

I found a way to solve this problem. It is perfect, especially for a New Year's outfit.
## You will need spandex thread and various beads. Yes, you also need strong jewelry wire.
String the beads onto the thread. The length should be exactly that of your bra strap, accounting for two wire clasps. It is better to try it on and check.

Make clasps out of the wire. It is important to crimp the ends of the wire well so they don't scratch. That's it!
Remove the regular straps and replace them with your handmade ones. You can make several different ones for different outfits.

I once had a situation where I had to come up with something for straps right for that evening. It's a good thing I found a narrow latex elastic band in my dresser (I once bought it by the meter). The necessary piece was cut off and sew-on rhinestones were attached to it in a hurry. There was no time to run out for detachable clips, so the elastic was basted to the bra by hand. And the bra itself was basted to the top of the dress, since it was a bandeau style and kept sliding down 🤭
In short, upon returning, I had to get out of it with scissors in my hands. Girls will be girls 😄
