1. Encaustic painting β painting with wax. This technique originated in Ancient Greece, can you imagine? And now, rare masters continue to practice wax painting.
Hot wax is mixed with pigments and applied to a surface using sticks. The difficulty lies in the fact that wax cools quickly, requiring special skill to apply fast, precise strokes.

4. Indian Shisha embroidery. It was mentioned on our forum once. What makes it so unusual? Shisha is a complex interweaving of embroidery techniques on a single canvas, and the canvas is always created with bright, multi-colored threads.
But the main highlight of Indian embroidery is the integration of mirror pieces into the design. It looks unusual and intriguing!
5. Ganutell β creating floral compositions from a wire base and embroidery floss. This art originated in Maltese monasteries, where as early as the 18th century, thin silver frames and silk threads were used for this delicate weaving.
