Pendant, Christmas Ornament, or Brooch? Creating a Winter Accessory

For those who love quick, enjoyable stitching and sewing, here is a tutorial on creating a near-lifelike snowflake ❄
What you ultimately get from this project depends entirely on your imagination.

To bring this project to life, I suggest gathering white felt, seed beads/bugle beads/beads, nylon thread, and a festive holiday spirit ))

To make it clear, I'm starting a new snowflake next to the finished ones: I sew a central pearl bead onto the felt, along with a bugle bead as the base for the first snowy “branch” and a turquoise bead. I arrange the remaining “branches” using faceted dark blue beads.

Bring the needle up between the facets and string 4 white seed beads onto it all at once: sew them down, forming an arch. Repeat the same trick for all the other corners.

Bring the needle up in the center of the beaded arch and sew on a new faceted turquoise bead. Repeat the same in each section.

Fill the space on both sides of the bead with bugle beads – for each section.

Top the bugle bead “roof” with a new dark blue bead.

You can leave it as is, or fill the outer space of each section with another pair of violet beads—that way, the snowflake will look fuller and more festive.

Next, all that's left is assembly: carefully cut out the snowflake, staying right along the edge of the felt. For the backing, you can use a piece of leather, fabric (such as velvet), or more felt. Align the two identical pieces—front and back—and sew small seed beads along the edge.

For a pendant, you will need a cord or chain; for a Christmas tree ornament, a festive ribbon; for a brooch, a pin back. It's all in your hands 😉
