Make a Compact and Beautiful Sewing Supplies Organizer

I am sure many of you have too few boxes and drawers for storing sewing and knitting supplies. If that is true, this organizer box will surely appeal to you!

How do you make this organizer? It is very simple. Gather:
• a cardboard box or thick cardboard;
• scissors and glue;
• fabric;
• needle and thread;
• trim;
• adhesive tape;
• white paint.

First, make the organizer frame. You can use a ready-made cardboard box or a blank you make yourself. Cut openings for the drawers and add a shelf. Paint the inside of the blank white. Make the drawers; for extra strength, you can wrap their outside with tape.

Cover the top shelf with fabric and make a lid for the organizer. Cover the lid with fabric as well. To make the lid more attractive, place polyester batting between the cardboard and fabric, then neatly sew the fabric edges.

Cover the box and all projecting edges with fabric. Make fabric drawer pulls as decoration.

Do not forget to make dividers for the organizer’s top shelf, and your organizer box is ready!
