How to Sew a Bride Doll

To sew, you need to prepare:
• for the doll – skin-tone fabric;
• for the dress — white cotton fabric, white tulle 9 cm wide, white lace 7 cm wide, lace 1.5 cm wide;
• for the scarf and stockings – white knit fabric;
• white felt – for the bag, panties, and shoes;
• two white decorative heart-shaped buttons to decorate the shoes;
• wool yarn for hair;
• black, red, and white acrylic paints;
• satin heart to decorate the scarf;
• stuffing – hollowfiber;
• fine-tip marker;
• blush;
• glue;
• white embroidery floss;
• long needle and heavy-duty thread.

Instructions
Print out the patterns at the desired size.

Step 3

Trace all doll pieces onto the skin-tone fabric folded in half. Pin the fabric and stitch along the outline of all pieces, leaving an opening for turning. You do not need to leave an opening on the head. After stitching the head pieces together, make a slit on the back (see pattern). Cut out the body parts with a 5 mm seam allowance. Turn right side out and firmly pack stuffing inside. Sew closed the openings on the head, arms, and legs; leave the opening on the torso for now.
Work a running stitch along the top edge of the torso, insert the neck inside, and pull the thread tight. Sew the neck in place with strong stitches.
Sew the legs to the torso at the points marked with asterisks on the pattern. To do this, thread a long needle with strong doubled thread, tie a knot at the end, and pass the needle through one leg, then inside the torso from one mark to the other, then through the second leg. Repeat in the opposite direction and secure the thread with a knot.
Face
Apply blush to the cheeks. First outline the eyes with a pencil, then use a fine brush with black acrylic paint to paint the eyes and eyelashes. After drying, paint highlight dots with white paint. Paint the mouth and nose with red paint as shown in the photo.
Hair
Prepare a small strand of wool yarn, glue it to the center part of the head at neck level, and trim it to create bangs.
Now make a thicker strand from the same yarn, glue it right behind the bangs, then distribute the strands across the entire back of the head and secure them. Roll a third strand into a bun and glue it to the back of the head.
Panties

Step 4

Trace according to the pattern on the felt folded in half and cut out. Put them on the doll and secure with a drop of glue on the belly. Then fold the edges over and glue or sew them together on the back.
Shoes

Step 5

Cut out from white felt. Fold the side pieces in pairs, stitch the front and back seams, then attach the sole using blanket stitch. Cut two 3 cm by 7 cm rectangles from the knit fabric, fold each in half, and stitch the socks. Put the socks and shoes on the doll's legs. Glue the bottom of the socks to the legs, and glue the top edges of the shoes to the socks. Sew white buttons on the sides.
Dress

Step 6

Gather a 50 cm long strip of tulle and secure it at the waist. For the dress, take a 9 cm by 60 cm strip of white fabric. Finish the raw edges along one of the long sides and sew 1.5 cm wide lace to it. Stitch the strip along the short sides.
Gather the raw edge and sew the skirt over the already attached tulle.
Stitch a 9 cm wide strip of lace along the short sides, gather it, and secure it below the doll's neck.
Right below the neck at lace level, attach the arms to the torso. For the scarf, cut a strip from the knit fabric, put it on the doll, tie it with a white cord with pom-poms, and glue on the heart.
Bag

Step 7

Cut two pieces from felt and pin them together. Make a slit for the handle. Stitch along the outline of the bag and its inner edge using blanket stitch. Place a tulle pouch with white dragée candies inside the bag.

Decorate the bag and hairstyle with white flowers.
