"Grandma's Style" Knitted Vest for Women
I knitted this vest to use up leftover yarn from my "Comfort" cardigan. I ended up loving the result, and it will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe. I knitted this vest using my grandmother's method, without adding anything trendy or modern. It features a seamed, integrated button band, 1x1 ribbing, garter stitch, and a cable pattern. Everything is classic—the way it was a hundred years ago, and the way it will always be. What makes me happy is that when my grandmother used to knit these, we only wore them at home for warmth, but now they've become fashionable urban wear.

The side seams are finished very interestingly; it looks especially expressive on light-colored yarn!
