DIY Gift Bag
I was shopping for New Year's gifts the other day and was unpleasantly surprised by the cost of packaging. Last time I posted a topic on how to make boxes for handmade items, but now I'm offering a faster and very budget-friendly packaging option β a kraft paper bag. I think this idea will definitely come in handy on the eve of the holidays π
Very beautiful themed bags β winter/New Year's β can be made from wrapping paper, which can be purchased by the meter at a gift shop. A roll of kraft paper will be even cheaper. And importantly, it is versatile and suitable for everything!
Cut out a rectangle to the required dimensions, keeping in mind that the shorter side will be the height of the bag, and the longer side will be folded in half to become its width. You will also need double-sided tape, thin ribbon, and a hole punch.
Fold the sheet in half, having first folded a strip on the side β the tape will be applied to it.
Peel off the protective film and stick the sides together.
Make folds so that the future bag takes on the shape of a box.
Now form the bottom by folding up part of the height.
Fold the bottom into an envelope shape and apply tape to the edges. It is better to do this in two stages, gluing one side first and then the other for reliability.
Carefully punch holes in the top of the bag and thread the ribbon through the resulting holes. Done π
After the first test bag, you will be able to make this packaging in a matter of minutes β an ideal option when you need it "right now" π
How quick and great everything is! And as for the design, there are countless ideas! I think even those who can't draw won't have any trouble choosing a print))) All sorts of stamps made from citrus halves or the base of a Napa cabbage come to mind. You could make snow by spraying paint with a brush; that would be a perfect New Year's version!
