Slightly mad, but so much fun: designs by Bothy Threads
Dedicated to those who love unconventional subjects in the spirit of Powell with his "crooked" houses.
Bothy Threads is much the same: miles of backstitch and A LOT of detail. Only instead of funny buildings, they feature characters of all kinds β for example, pirates, participants in Noah's Ark, or a wild youth party.
The series of designs featuring various cars, trailers, and vans, as if shown in cross-section, has earned special love from stitchers.
Fun fact: in all these Bothy Threads pictures, there is a restless snail. But finding it can be oh so difficult! Sometimes it seems that to spot it, it's easier to just go ahead and stitch the whole design π
Another legendary Bothy Threads series is their colorful samplers on a wide variety of themes.
And now for the sad news: the company is discontinuing a significant portion of its work. This means that all fans of these themes should hurry up and purchase the desired kits β very soon they will become rare!
That's on my wishlist too π I was hoping to find the pattern available for free, but I didn't find anything decent, only graphics in unreadable quality. And the kit is quite expensive
