When embroidery is a diagnosis :)
I once had the idea to embroider a simple design on a new mosquito window screen. Just to look out the window and enjoy the result 😄 My husband said this is a clear case of clinical insanity 😜 To prove to him that I'm fine, I had to find solid evidence of my sanity compared to other, slightly more obsessed embroiderers...

Bring street fences to life (I swear, that thought has crossed my mind too!)

Literally wear embroidery on their faces

Well, and for the leader of the hit parade, I nominate the Lithuanian artist with the unpronounceable surname Inčirauskaitė-Kriaunienė: she boldly stitches crosses on any metal, not bothering much with shovels, irons, frying pans, and even cars (I won't even mention the tanker – that just doesn't fit in my head).
P.S. I don't recommend showing photos of the punctured car to impressionable husbands - mine barely survived the sight 😂

So familiar. I don't do cross-stitch, but I love looking at others' work; when it comes to leather, I'm totally at home with it — any scrap of leather is material to me. If I'm talking to someone and notice they're wearing something leather, I immediately start inspecting and analyzing how well it's made and how I would have done it. Sometimes I can just tune out the whole conversation.
